Our team arrives on time and completes the Solar Installation with precision, ensuring all components are correctly fitted and configured for optimal performance.
After the solar installation, we thoroughly test the system and walk you through its operation, addressing any questions you may have.
Simple, Efficient and Easy!
The actual installation day is preceded by crucial steps to ensure the system is correctly designed and approved.
Site Assessment: (Start with a FREE QUOTE) Our solar expert first visits your property (or uses satellite imagery and plans) to assess your roof’s suitability. This involves checking its structural integrity, material (tile, metal, etc.), angle, orientation (e.g., North-facing is best in the Southern Hemisphere), and a shading analysis to identify obstructions like trees or neighboring buildings that could reduce efficiency.
System Design and Permitting: Based on the assessment and your energy needs, a detailed system design is created, including panel layout and inverter placement. The installer then manages the necessary permits and approvals from local authorities and the utility company to connect to the grid.
Installation typically takes one to three days, depending on system size and complexity. Here’s how the team approaches the work:
Team Arrival: The accredited installation team arrives with all the components (panels, mounting hardware, inverter, wiring).
Safety First: The team establishes a safe work environment, setting up safety protocols (harnesses, safety cones) and ensuring clear access to the work areas.
Homeowner Interaction: They will likely ask you to be present for the start of the day to confirm the final placement of the inverter (usually on an external wall, close to the main electrical panel) and to confirm access to the switchboard and potentially the roof cavity for wiring. You may be asked to keep pets and children away from the work area for safety.
Mounting System: The primary work begins on the roof. Installers secure rails and brackets directly to your roof’s structure, ensuring the system is firmly anchored and properly waterproofed. For tile roofs, this may involve cutting or grinding tiles to fit the brackets, so having spare tiles on hand is often recommended.
Panel Installation: The solar panels are carefully lifted onto the roof (often in bundles) and secured to the mounting rails. They are arranged according to the approved design plan to maximize sun exposure and avoid shade.
DC Wiring: The panels are wired together, connecting the array using special DC cables that run from the panels down toward the inverter location.
Inverter Installation: The inverter (which converts the panels’ DC power to usable AC power for your home) is mounted in the pre-agreed location.
Electrical Connections: Licensed electricians on the team perform the critical work of running cables from the roof array to the inverter, and then connecting the inverter to your main electrical panel (switchboard). This connection allows the solar-generated power to be distributed throughout your home.
Power Interruption: The power to your home will need to be temporarily switched off—typically for a short period (e.g., around 15 to 60 minutes) to safely complete the final connections at the switchboard.
Clean-up: Once the system is fully installed, the team cleans up all debris and packaging, leaving your property as they found it.
Testing and Walkthrough: The team conducts thorough testing to ensure all components and wiring are working correctly and safely. They will then provide you with a system walkthrough, demonstrating how to safely turn the system on and off, and explaining the inverter’s basic functions and the monitoring setup (often an app that connects to your home’s Wi-Fi).
Final Inspection and Metering: The system cannot legally be turned on until it passes a final inspection (by the local authority or a licensed electrical inspector) and your electricity provider installs or updates your smart meter to enable two-way power flow (for feeding excess energy back into the grid).
System Activation: Once all final approvals and metering are complete, your solar provider will notify you, and you can officially flip the switch and begin generating your own solar electricity!

We check for age, structural integrity, and shading. A site assessment confirms the optimal angle (North is best, but East/West still performs) and ensures your roof is ready before we proceed.
Once permits are approved, the physical installation typically takes 1 to 3 days, depending on the size and complexity of your system.
We design your system with future-readiness in mind. You can typically add more panels or a battery storage system in the future with minimal hassle.
You receive both a Product Warranty (up to 20 years on some products) and a Workmanship Warranty covering the installation itself. We handle all claims for you.
